Ocean Cremation Urns Options
We make two different Ocean Cremation Urns™ to ensure that anyone who wishes to be memorialized at sea can do so, regardless of geography or budget.
The 600 pound Ocean Cremation Urn™ - $3,999, (shown above) stands 26 inches tall and is 44 inches wide at its widest point. The urn is constructed with a unique protected chamber called the Care Chamber™ built into the center core of the urn. The Care Chamber™ is designed to accommodate the cremated remains of an individual or couple. The Great Burial Reef® Heart Seal™ cover is placed over the Care Chamber™ and sealed with the same marine grade adhesive used to seal hull breaches in the world’s largest ocean class ships. Your loved one’s remains will be sealed and safely protected inside the Care Chamber™ for generations by Great Burial Reef® staff members.
Our newer 60 pound Ocean Cremation Urn™ - $999, (shown at left) is simply a smaller version of the original, measuring 12 inches tall and 18 inches wide at its widest point. Like it’s larger counterpart, it has a Care Chamber™ that can accommodate the remains of a single individual, and seals with the same Heart Seal™ and process as our larger reef urn. The 60 pound version was created specifically for those individuals and families who wish to perform the ocean placement themselves, but don’t let its size and weight fool you – it’s as safe, permanent, and life-attracting as the larger version.
If you select the 60 pound Ocean Cremation Urn™, it will be shipped to your door with adhesive and simple sealing instructions. At the time and location of your choosing, you can place it in the ocean yourself, without the encumbrance of officiates or even our staff. If you are uncomfortable handling the sealing of your loved one’s remains into the Care Chamber™, we can also ship it to the facility that performed the cremation and guide its staff to handle the sealing for you.
